Graag onderweg en op zoek naar een job in de haven? Als chauffeur met rijbewijs B vervoer je havenarbeiders veilig en comfortabel op de terminal in Zeebrugge en van en naar de schepen. Een voltijdse functie van 38 uur per week in de vroege shift of dagshift, inclusief weekendwerk.

Als chauffeur zorg je voor het veilige en comfortabele vervoer van havenarbeiders in de haven van Zeebrugge. Met een busje breng je medewerkers naar verschillende locaties op de terminal en van en naar de schepen.

Tot jouw taken behoren:

  • Vervoeren van havenarbeiders volgens de opgelegde routes.
  • Bewaken van de veiligheid en het comfort van de inzittenden.
  • Respecteren van de snelheidslimieten en de veiligheidsregels rond gordeldracht, gsm-gebruik en roken.
  • Naleven van de geldende werk- en veiligheidsprocedures.
  • Controleren van het dienstvoertuig op schade en technische mankementen.
  • Tanken en zorgen voor een net en verzorgd voertuig.
  • Melden van schade en technische problemen aan de leidinggevende.
  • Correct gebruiken van de sleutelkast volgens de interne afspraken.
  • Duidelijk communiceren met havenarbeiders, collega's en leidinggevenden.

De werkzaamheden gebeuren zowel zelfstandig als in team. De chauffeur rapporteert aan de coördinerend chauffeur en supervisor. Het werkregime bedraagt 38 uur per week in de vroege shift of dagshift, inclusief weekendwerk.

  • Een geldig rijbewijs B sinds minstens twee jaar en voldoende rijervaring.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands om vlot te communiceren en veiligheidsinstructies correct op te volgen.
  • Een diploma secundair onderwijs (A2).
  • Een betrouwbare, stipte en verantwoordelijke houding, met veiligheid als prioriteit.
  • Stressbestendigheid en het vermogen om rustig te blijven in onverwachte situaties.
  • Zowel zelfstandig als in team kunnen werken.
  • Respectvol omgaan met mensen van verschillende achtergronden.
  • Motivatie en beschikbaarheid voor de vroege shift of dagshift, inclusief weekendwerk.
  • Kennis van de havenwerking en de verschillende terminals is een pluspunt.
  • Een geldige medische keuring is een troef.
