Voor één van onze klanten in Knokke-Heist, een prestigieuze 5-sterrenomgeving aan de Belgische kust, zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren en zelfstandige Chef de Partie.

Je komt terecht in een professionele keuken waar kwaliteit, productkennis en creativiteit centraal staan. De keuken werkt volgens het principe van “elevated classics”: herkenbare klassiekers, verfijnd met moderne technieken en een eigentijdse twist.

Jouw taken

Als Chef de Partie ben jij verantwoordelijk voor jouw eigen partie.

Tijdens zowel de mise-en-place als de service zorg je ervoor dat alles vlot, georganiseerd en volgens de juiste kwaliteitsstandaarden verloopt.

  • Zelfstandig beheren van jouw partie, van mise-en-place tot service.
  • Bereiden van gerechten volgens de kwaliteitsstandaarden van de keuken.
  • Meedenken over nieuwe gerechten, smaken en bereidingen.
  • Bewaken van de kwaliteit, smaak en presentatie van ieder gerecht.
  • Nauw samenwerken met de andere chefs en collega's.
  • Zorgen voor een correcte voorraad en een georganiseerde werkplek.
  • Naleven van de HACCP- en hygiënevoorschriften.
  • Ook tijdens drukke services het hoofd koel houden en bijdragen aan een vlotte keukenwerking.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand met ervaring, vakkennis en vooral veel goesting om aan de slag te gaan in een kwalitatieve keuken.

  • Ervaring als Chef de Partie is vereist, net als een goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring als Chef de Partie binnen een kwaliteitskeuken.
  • Goede kennis van zowel klassieke als moderne kooktechnieken.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Engels met collega's.
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor de eigen partie.
  • Een georganiseerde, nauwkeurige en stressbestendige werkhouding.
  • Oog voor detail en een sterke focus op kwaliteit.
  • Een echte teamplayer die collega's helpt waar nodig.
  • Een gemotiveerde en leergierige instelling, met de ambitie om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen de gastronomie.
