The posting

Als chef de partie in het WZC in Bertem (38u) heb je een gevarieerd takenpakket met volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Mise-en-place: Voorbereiden, schikken en garneren van gerechten en de verdeling van de maaltijden. Je staat in voor het koken van warme maaltijden en werkt in de koude keuken mee als het nodig is. Je maakt maaltijden voor de bewoners van het woonzorgcentrum. Een deel van de maaltijden is ook voor de uitvoer.
  • Teamwork: Je werkt samen met 1 gerant, 1 collega chef de partie, en nog 4 keukenmedewerkers van de klant. Samen bereiden jullie alle maaltijden voor de gepensioneerde bewoners van het WZC. Je zal vooral de warme keuken op jou nemen en instaan voor de bereiding en afwerking. De keukenmedewerkers staan ook in voor het maken van de broodmaaltijden.
  • Ondersteuning: Inspringen waar nodig tijdens piekperiodes. Bij afwezigheid van de kok, zal je samen met je collega-chef de partie de lead in de keuken nemen op vlak van taakverdeling.
  • Opruimen en kwaliteitscontrole: Na de dienst opruimen, overschotten verwerken en de kwaliteit en versheid van de producten controleren.
  • Veiligheid: Een zero risk mindset hanteren en geen compromissen sluiten op het gebied van veiligheid, zowel voor jezelf als voor anderen.

Voor de vacature van chef de partie in Bertem zoeken we iemand met het volgende profiel:

  • Je beheerst zeer goed het Nederlands.
  • Je hebt een diploma hotelschool en hebt reeds ervaring als chef de partie / kok. Ervaring als kok voor senioren / in een rusthuis is een troef. Kennis van diëten is een plus.
  • Je bent flexibel naar uren en weekenwerk toe, want je zal 1 op 2 weekends werken.
  • Je bent computervaardig (mailen, internet).
  • Je bent een teamplayer met een ‘One Team Approach’.
