Wat je kan verwachten De Main Kitchen draagt onder andere zorg voor de bereiding van gerechten met diverse verse ingrediënten en producten voor diverse afdelingen, waaronder het ontbijt, Roomservice, de Lobby Bar en Banquet Operations. De Banquet Operations afdeling van Hotel Okura Amsterdam is de grootste Banquet Operations afdeling onder alle vijfsterren hotels in Nederland, en is marktleider met betrekking tot omzet en kwaliteit. Zorgdragen voor de gerechten binnen de Main Kitchen betekent dus werken op zeer hoog niveau. Als Breakfast Chef ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bereiden van ontbijtgerechten, het uitvoeren van mise en place activiteiten, het schoonhouden van de keuken en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe items op het menu. Tevens is het breakfast team verantwoordelijk voor het bemannen van de live cooking stations in ons ontbijtrestaurant. Je hoofdtaken zullen zijn: • Het bereiden van gerechten conform de vastgestelde standaarden, receptuur en planning; • Zorgdragen voor een kwalitatief sterk eindproduct; • Werken conform standaarden van The Leading Hotels of the World; • Het adviseren van gasten op het gebied van ontbijtkeuzes; • Het hebben van goed gastencontact; • Het treffen van voorbereidingen met betrekking tot gerechten; • Het beoordelen van de kwaliteit, versheid en houdbaarheid van ingrediënte
