The posting

Voor deze moderne supermarkt in Wondelgem bouwen we een splinternieuwe warme keuken. We zoeken een ervaren chef die deze uitdaging met beide handen wil grijpen. Jij krijgt de unieke kans om mee te beslissen over de volledige inrichting én de aankoop van alle materialen (zoals dampkap, tafels, spoelbak, vario cooker, vacumeermachine, enz.). Zo kan je jouw ideale werkomgeving creëren.

Je komt terecht in een superteam – onze koude keuken draait al vlot met drie vaste collega’s. We willen nu een even sterk, enthousiast team vormen voor ons warme atelier. In eerste instantie ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het maken van onze componenten (o.a. vol-au-vent, spaghetti, puree, soepen), en zodra het team groeit, bereiden we samen volledige gerechten in handige porties.

Voor de vacature als chef zijn dit jouw voornaamste taken:

  • Uitwerken en bereiden van alle warme componenten volgens onze hoge kwaliteitsnormen
  • Samenstellen en ontwikkelen van recepten en gerechten samen met het team
  • Bewaken van hygiëne, kwaliteit, voedselveiligheid en ordelijkheid
  • Inrichten van het atelier en meebeslissen over benodigde apparatuur
  • Opleiden en aansturen van (toekomstige) collega’s
  • Actieve bijdrage aan de uitstraling van onze warme keukenafdeling

Voor de vacature als chef zijn we op zoek naar iemand met deze eigenschappen:

  • Je hebt relevante ervaring als chef in een warme keuken, liefst binnen retail, traiteur of grootkeuken
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, efficiënt en hygiënisch
  • Je denkt mee, neemt initiatief en hebt kwaliteit en teamwork hoog in het vaandel
  • Je houdt het overzicht, ook tijdens drukke momenten
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands
