Als chef-kok ben jij de drijvende kracht achter de volledige horecawerking binnen Hof Van Gan. Je staat aan het roer van zowel de grootkeuken als het Grand Café en zorgt ervoor dat bewoners, familieleden en bezoekers elke dag kunnen genieten van een kwalitatieve en gastvrije ervaring. Het Grand Café vormt bovendien een belangrijke ontmoetingsplek binnen onze woonzorgcampus.

Wat maakt jouw rol zo boeiend?

  • coördineren van de dagelijkse werking van de grootkeuken én het Grand Café;
  • aansturen, coachen en ondersteunen van medewerkers zodat iedereen het beste uit zichzelf kan halen;
  • bewaken van een efficiënte organisatie, kwalitatieve dienstverlening en een vlotte samenwerking binnen de teams;
  • werken met vaste menucycli waarbij kwaliteit, voedingswaarde en bewonersbeleving steeds centraal staan;
  • actief meedenken over haalbare aanpassingen en verbeteringen binnen het menu-aanbod, steeds binnen de afgesproken budgetten;
  • verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor bestellingen, voorraadbeheer en leveranciersrelaties;
  • nauwgezet opvolgen van de budgetten en bijdragen aan een evenwicht tussen kwaliteit, service en kostenbeheersing;
  • waken over de correcte toepassing van HACCP-richtlijnen en voedselveiligheidsprocedures;
  • samenwerken met directie en collega's uit verschillende diensten om de woon- en leefkwaliteit van bewoners verder te versterken;
  • mee vormgeven aan de warme, gastvrije sfeer die Hof Van Gan typeert.

Je bent een chef-kok met een passie voor je vak én voor mensen. Je begrijpt hoe belangrijk maaltijden zijn binnen het dagelijkse leven van onze bewoners en zet je elke dag in om van elk eetmoment iets bijzonders te maken.

  • ervaring in het aansturen van een keuken- of horecateam;
  • diploma hotelschool of gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen een professionele keuken.
  • een sterk organisatietalent dat moeiteloos overzicht bewaart;
  • oog voor kwaliteit, service en efficiëntie;
  • een kostenbewuste aanpak zonder in te boeten op smaak of beleving;
  • het talent om collega's te inspireren, ondersteunen en enthousiasmeren;
  • een hart voor ouderen en een passie voor gastvrijheid;
  • zin om verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en initiatief te tonen;
  • kennis van voedselveiligheid en de bijhorende kwaliteitsnormen;
