We zijn op zoek naar een ervaren en gepassioneerde chef-kok om de keuken van ons Aziatisch restaurant in Maasmechelen, België, te leiden. De ideale kandidaat brengt een mix van culinaire expertise, leiderschapskwaliteiten en operationele knowhow mee om uitzonderlijke eetervaringen voor onze gasten te garanderen. Deze rol als chef-kok vereist naleving van recepten en Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) en stimuleert creativiteit om ons aanbod naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Je bereidt en voert gerechten uit volgens gevestigde recepten en SOP's. Je zorgt ervoor dat aan hoge kwaliteitsnormen wordt voldaan en je draagt innovatieve ideeën bij om het menu te verbeteren.
  • Je zorgt voor consistentie in smaak, presentatie en kwaliteit voor alle gerechten.
  • Je leidt, motiveert en beheert het keukenteam en bevordert een collaboratieve en efficiënte werkomgeving.
  • Je houdt toezicht op het voorraadbeheer, inclusief voorraadbewaking, bestellingen en het minimaliseren van verspilling.
  • Je implementeert kostenbeheersingsmaatregelen om de winstgevendheid te behouden zonder afbreuk te doen aan de kwaliteit.
  • Je zorgt voor naleving van voedselveiligheids- en hygiënenormen, met een voorkeur voor kennis van HACCP-systemen.

Je profiel:

  • Aantoonbare ervaring als chef-kok of in een vergelijkbare leiderschapsrol binnen een keuken, bij voorkeur met expertise in de Aziatische keuken.
  • Sterke leidinggevende capaciteiten met het vermogen om een team te trainen, te aan te sturen en te inspireren.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in voorraadbeheer en kostenbeheersing.
  • Bekendheid met HACCP-systemen of andere voedselveiligheidsvoorschriften is een must.
  • Creatieve flair gecombineerd met een gedisciplineerde benadering van het volgen van recepten en processen.
  • Uitstekende organisatorische en time-management vaardigheden.
  • Het vermogen om te gedijen in een snel veranderende omgeving en kalmte te bewaren onder druk.
  • Talenkennis is niet belangrijk, als men maar gemotiveerd is
