Bij HAN BioCentre onderzoek je onder andere textiel, recycling en biobased materialen. Je werkt mee aan innovatieve oplossingen voor de grondstoftransitie en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe biopolymeren. Een veelzijdige functie voor een enthousiaste, hands-on analist die impact wil maken! Binnen HAN BioCentre en het lectoraat Biobased Innovations willen we graag kennis ontwikkelen ten behoeve van de zogenaamde grondstoftransitie die noodzakelijk is om de klimaatverandering af te remmen. Jouw werk draagt bij aan die kennisontwikkeling en betreft de uitvoering van analytisch chemisch onderzoek op ons laboratorium in Nijmegen en eventueel in Arnhem, onder begeleiding van een ervaren projectleider en in samenwerking met bedrijven. Je werk bestaat uit het analyseren van materialen, voornamelijk textiel, m.b.v. verschillende technieken om de precieze polymeer samenstelling en aan de hand van degradatieproducten de mate van recycling te bepalen (o.a. IR spectroscopie, chromatografie, en massa spectrometrie). Daarnaast behoren het testen van nieuwe biobased oplosmiddelen en scheidingstechnieken tot de werkzaamheden. Dit t.b.v. de bioraffinage van organische reststromen uit land- en tuinbouw zodat deze stromen kunnen worden verwerkt tot nieuwe producten, zoals biopolymeren. De exacte werkzaamheden zijn deels afhankelijk van interesse en ervaring. Begeleiding van studenten kan onderdeel zijn van de werkzaamheden. De positie is in eerste instantie tijdelijk voor een jaar. Je hebt een afgeronde relevante laboratoriumopleiding, op bachelor niveau, en hebt minimaal 2 jaar werkervaring. Je hebt gedegen (praktijk)kennis in de analytische chemie. Daarnaast is ervaring met biochemie en/of fysische chemie een pré. Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit en hebt ervaring met troubleshooting. ...
