The posting

We breiden ons chemielabo uit. Je komt terecht in het tweepersoonsteam chemie, waarbij beide collega’s 60% werken en samen verantwoordelijk zijn voor alle chemische processen die onze keramische PCB’s hun oppervlakteafwerking en betrouwbaarheid geven. Dit is een hands-on technische functie met een duidelijk groeipad: naarmate CERcuits opschaalt, verwachten we dat een van de twee chemiespecialisten kan doorgroeien naar de rol van Chemistry Lead, met verantwoordelijkheid voor de technische roadmap van het labo.

Je werkt nauw samen met onze Process Engineer (Lean / 5S / SOP-standaardisatie), onze Quality Engineer (inspectiecriteria, non-conformiteiten) en onze Senior Production Technician (oppervlakteafwerking, overdracht van galvanische processen).

Wat je zal doen:

  • Bedienen en controleren van de galvanische en chemische lijnen, inclusief badvoorbereiding, opvolging van de chemie, correctieve toevoegingen en troubleshooting van typische defecten zoals pitting, hechtingsproblemen en onvoldoende dekking.
  • Uitvoeren van oppervlakteafwerkingsprocessen (Surface finish): immersie zilver, koperetsen, ondersteuning bij soldeermaskerprocessen en schuren/polijsten waar nodig.
  • Verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor reiniging van verschillende substraten en materialen: standaardprocedures per materiaal definiëren en volgen, en elke stap registreren voor traceerbaarheid.
  • Chemische formulaties voorbereiden en bijsturen; formules, verhoudingen en veiligheidsinformatiebladen interpreteren; kleinschalige analyses en metingen uitvoeren zoals pH, concentratie, geleidbaarheid, laagdikte en visuele inspectie onder vergroting.
  • Meewerken aan het schrijven en verbeteren van werkinstructies en SOP’s voor elk proces waar je mee werkt.
  • Jobs, tijden en non-conformiteiten opvolgen en registreren in ons ERP-systeemen Odoo & Jira (opleiding voorzien).
  • 5S volgen in het labo en deelnemen aan continue verbeterprojecten zoals automatisering van badvoorbereiding, ventilatie, lay-out, laboveiligheid en andere verbeteringen.
  • Bachelor- of graduaatsdiploma in chemie, chemische laboratoriumtechnologie, laborant of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minstens 5 jaar hands-on ervaring in een chemisch labo of industriële chemische procesomgeving. We hechten meer belang aan bewezen praktijkervaring dan aan academische titels.
  • Rechtstreekse ervaring met minstens drie van de volgende domeinen: etsen, reinigingsprocessen, ultrasoonbaden, oppervlakteafwerking met chemische producten, voorbereiding van chemische formulaties, kleinschalige chemische analyse en meting.
  • Vlot kunnen werken met chemische formules, veiligheidsinformatiebladen (SDS) en technische procedures.
  • Sterke aandacht voor detail, probleemoplossend denken en een praktische, hands-on ingesteldheid.
  • Goede praktische kennis van Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Nederlands vloeiend — gesproken en geschreven — en Engels op professioneel werkingsniveau. De meeste veiligheidsdocumentatie en communicatie met leveranciers is in het Engels; teamcommunicatie gebeurt in een mix van Nederlands en Engels.
  • Nauwkeurig, ordelijk en methodisch. Je houdt het labo netjes en registreert wat je doet.
  • Teamspeler die kan werken in een snelle productieomgeving.
  • Je woont op maximaal 30 minuten rijden van Geel of Olen.

Echte pluspunten

  • Ervaring in de elektronica- of PCB-productie, of in oppervlakteafwerking voor elektronica of precisiecomponenten
  • Hands-on ervaring met galvanische metallisatie, chemische metallisatie, immersiezilver of koperetsen op productieschaal.
  • Vertrouwdheid met Jira of gelijkaardige job-trackingtools.
  • Ervaring met Lean, 5S of ISO 9001 / QMS-omgevingen.
  • VCA-attest of gelijkwaardige veiligheidsopleiding op de werkvloer.
  • Interesse om binnen 12 maanden door te groeien naar een Chemistry Lead-functie.
