Als Chief Accountant neem je een sleutelrol op binnen een internationale organisatie met activiteiten in België. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de financiële integriteit, correcte rapportering en naleving van lokale wetgeving en IFRS‑standaarden. Je werkt nauw samen met het management en ondersteunt de financiële processen, rapporteringen en controles binnen de Belgische entiteit.

Je belangrijkste taken als Chief Accountant:

  • Documentatie en financiële controle van boekhoudkundige records bewaken (workflows, juistheid, betrouwbaarheid).
  • Tijdige en correcte dataverwerking in het ERP‑systeem ( Business Central / Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
  • Registreren en reconciliëren van transacties.
  • Toepassen van relevante fiscale wetgeving en accountingstandaarden (lokaal + IFRS).
  • Berekenen van belastingen, heffingen en opvolgen van financiële verrichtingen.
  • Cashtransacties en payrollprocessen beheren.
  • Maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrapporteringen voorbereiden volgens lokale standaarden en IFRS.
  • Consolidatiepakketten en interne rapporteringen ondersteunen.
  • Inventarisprocessen leiden of eraan deelnemen.
  • Transfer pricing‑richtlijnen naleven.
  • Richtlijnen geven rond financiële procedures en monitoring van business events.
  • Master of bachelor in Accounting, Finance of gelijkwaardig.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in accounting & finance, idealiter in een internationale omgeving.
  • Sterke kennis van lokale accountingstandaarden, IFRS, payroll, vaste activa en voorraadbeheer.
  • Ervaring met tijdige en accurate financiële rapportering.
  • Diepgaande kennis van Belgische fiscale wetgeving.
  • ERP‑ervaring ( Business Central / Navision) is een plus.
  • Vlotte kennis Nederlands + sterke kennis Engels; Frans op werkbaar niveau is een plus.
  • Analytisch, nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en communicatief sterk.
