Voor een toonaangevende, internationaal actieve speler in logistiek, supply chain en warehousing zoeken wij een Chief Operating Officer die deze volgende fase vormgeeft. Met een hecht team van meer dan honderd collega's werkt de organisatie gestaag aan een ambitieuze groeidoelstelling voor de komende jaren. De operationele tak ontwikkelt zich van een traditioneel uitvoerende functie naar een zelfstandige, resultaatgedreven eenheid; met alle professionaliseringsvraagstukken die daarbij horen. De rol Als COO ben je de operationele tegenhanger van een commerciële CEO en de linking pin tussen de organisatie en de werkvloer. Je bent integraal verantwoordelijk voor de volledige operatie: warehouse, transport, supply chain, facility en sales operations. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CEO en maakt deel uit van het directieteam. De kernopdracht: Het ontwikkelen van een schaalbare, innovatieve en winstgevende operatie die operationele excellentie combineert met commerciële groei. Dat betekent niet alleen het runnen van de huidige operatie, maar vooral het bouwen en professionaliseren van de organisatie om het groeitempo te faciliteren; pragmatisch, vindingrijk en met oog voor duurzaamheid.
