Namens een grote Nederlandse organisatie binnen een maatschappelijk relevante en sterk digitaliserende sector zoek ik een ervaren Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. De organisatie telt meer dan 500 medewerkers en werkt aan digitale oplossingen die dagelijks door verschillende partijen en professionals worden gebruikt. Betrouwbaarheid, beschikbaarheid en veilige gegevensverwerking zijn daardoor essentieel. Achter de schermen bevindt zich een omvangrijk IT-landschap waarin grote hoeveelheden data worden verwerkt en continu wordt gewerkt aan verdere digitalisering. Technologie vormt een belangrijk onderdeel van de organisatie. Dat zie je onder andere terug in de schaal van het cloudlandschap: er zijn maar liefst 7 cloudteams actief. Je werkt dus in een omgeving waar veel kennis aanwezig is en waar je altijd andere Cloud Engineers en Platform Engineers om je heen hebt om mee te sparren. Loop je tegen een interessant AWS-vraagstuk aan? Wil je een architectuurkeuze toetsen? Of heb je een beter idee voor de inrichting van Kubernetes of Terraform? Dan zijn er genoeg ervaren collega's waarmee je de technische diepte in kunt. Meerdere DevOps- en DataOps-teams maken gebruik van het centrale cloudplatform. Dat platform wordt voortdurend uitgebreid, geautomatiseerd en verbeterd. Je komt terecht in een technische omgeving waar AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code en CI/CD geen toekomstplannen zijn, maar onderdeel vormen van de dagelijkse praktijk. De werksfeer is professioneel en informeel. Engineers krijgen veel verantwoordelijkheid en worden aangemoedigd om kritisch naar bestaande oplossingen te kijken.
