The posting

Build Software is een verticaal SaaS-ERP-platform voor de bouwsector, dat al meer dan 15 jaar in productie is en op Azure wordt gehost. Deze functie is puur gericht op operations en ondersteuning: de architectuur en ontwikkeling voor het moderniseringsprogramma (CI/CD, releasestromen, landing zone-architectuur) vallen onder het Dev & Architecture-team. Als Cloud Operations & Support Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de monitoring, het onderzoeken van incidenten en de escalatie voor het Azure-platform, plus eerstelijns klantenondersteuning en beperkte interne IT-ondersteuning voor collega’s. Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor alles wat met cloudoperaties en -ondersteuning te maken heeft.

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket:

Operations

• Azure-omgevingen monitoren en binnenkomende meldingen onderzoeken

• Doorverwijzen naar de 2e lijn voor functionele ondersteuning, of naar de 3e lijn (Dev & Architecture-team) voor problemen met code of architectuur

• Noodmaatregelen nemen tijdens kantooruren

• Azure-omgeving: VM’s, App Services, SQL, build-/bestandsservers, AVD, netwerken, SSL, VPN — beslissingen over de landing zone en architectuur worden samen met de architect genomen

• Identiteit en governance: Entra ID, M365, licentiebeheer (intern en BuildOnAzure)

• Beveiligingsactiviteiten: Defender for Cloud, EDR, kennis van NIS2

• Platformondersteuning: Azure-prestatieproblemen voor klanten; ondersteuning van de ontwikkeling bij Azure-connectiviteit, authenticatie/autorisatie, Graph API

• Ondersteuning van de salesafdeling met Azure-migratieaanbiedingen voor klanten die overstappen naar BuildOnAzure

• Fungeren als contactpersoon voor externe ondersteuningspartners en bijdragen aan de geplande herziening van SharePoint

Klantondersteuning (1e lijn) • Verwerken van eerstelijns telefonische ondersteuning (softphone — geschikt voor werken op afstand) en Freshdesk-tickets

• Uitvoeren van interventies in onze eigen omgeving of via VPN in de on-premise omgevingen van klanten — op afstand, zonder fysieke bezoeken ter plaatse

Interne IT support • Beperkte eerstelijns IT-ondersteuning voor collega’s (voornamelijk engineers die zelfstandig werken) — Intune, EDR, wachtwoordbeheer, onboarding/offboarding

Jouw profiel

  • Domeinspecifieke kennis Azure-infrastructuur: Azure VM / App Services, IIS, netwerken, SSL, Key Vault, monitoring Monitoring: Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Linux-log Cloud security: Secret management, permissions, secure pipelines Identiteit en governance: Entra ID, M365, licentiebeheer Klantensupport: Ervaring met eerstelijnsondersteuning (telefonisch en/of via ticketsystemen zoals Freshdesk)
  • Klantgericht en oplossingsgericht — neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor cases, niet alleen voor tickets
  • Voelt zich thuis in zowel platformbeheer als directe ondersteuning van klanten en collega’s
  • Zelfstandig optredend aanspreekpunt, wacht niet op tickets
  • Beschikbaar op locatie in Herselt en later in Beringen, met maximaal 2 dagen op afstand
  • Duidelijke communicator tussen ontwikkeling, interne gebruikers en klanten
