Onze klant is een familiebedrijf uit Meulebeke dat sinds 1972 maatpanelen produceert voor professionele toepassingen. Vandaag staat ook de vierde generatie mee aan het roer. In het atelier wordt gewerkt voor onder meer de interieur-, meubel- en industriesector.

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar ambachtelijke kennis en moderne techniek mooi samengaan. Met CNC-machines van Homag en Biesse worden niet alleen rechte vormen gemaakt, maar ook complexe contouren en uitsparingen. Daardoor krijg je de kans om je kennis van hout te combineren met een technisch specialisme dat je nog jarenlang kan blijven verdiepen.

Ook duurzaamheid krijgt de nodige aandacht. Er wordt gewerkt met PEFC-gecertificeerd hout uit een Europese keten.

Jobomschrijving

Je werkt in het atelier in Meulebeke aan maatpanelen die uiteindelijk terechtkomen in onder meer interieurs, winkels en industriële toepassingen. Het ene project vraagt een strakke uitsparing, het andere een complexe contour. Daardoor blijft je werk afwisselend en word je elke dag opnieuw uitgedaagd om nauwkeurig te werken.

Jouw taken:

  • Je leest technische plannen en vertaalt deze naar de CNC-machine
  • Je stelt een Biesse Rover of Homag BAZ correct in
  • Je freest panelen volgens de gewenste vorm en afmeting
  • Je volgt het productieproces op en stuurt bij waar nodig
  • Je controleert het resultaat op maatvoering en afwerking
  • Je voert klein en preventief onderhoud uit aan de machine
  • Je houdt je werkplek netjes en overzichtelijk
  • Je denkt mee wanneer een technische oplossing efficiënter kan

Precisie is hier geen detail. Met een fout- en afvalpercentage van minder dan 0,02% merk je meteen hoeveel verschil een nauwkeurige aanpak maakt.

  • Je hebt ervaring in houtbewerking of een sterke interesse in het vak
  • Je kan een technisch plan lezen
  • Je beschikt over technisch en ruimtelijk inzicht
  • Je hebt oog voor een verzorgde afwerking
  • Je staat open om CNC-bediening stap voor stap aan te leren
