Je komt terecht bij een gevestigde industriële speler die gespecialiseerd is in de engineering, productie en realisatie van complexe installaties en maatwerkconstructies voor klanten in binnen- en buitenland. Wat ga je doen?

Als machineoperator ben je verantwoordelijk voor de voorbereiding en bewerking van metalen onderdelen. Aan de hand van technische plannen en bewerkingslijsten zorg je ervoor dat ieder onderdeel correct en veilig wordt geproduceerd.

Je bedient verschillende conventionele en CNC-gestuurde metaalbewerkingsmachines, waaronder zaag-, boor-, snij-, plooi-, rol-, draai-, frees-, brand- en ponsmachines.

Concreet betekent dat dat je:

  • metalen platen en profielen met behulp van een rolbrug naar de juiste machine brengt en correct positioneert;
  • de juiste grondstoffen selecteert en de materiaaluitgiftes administratief verwerkt in het stockbeheersysteem;
  • werkstukken correct opspant of plaatst in de machine;
  • CNC-machines instelt op basis van technische plannen en bewerkingsgegevens;
  • voorgeprogrammeerde CNC-programma's via CAM of digitale machinebesturing inlaadt en opstart;
  • rekening houdt met het werkbereik van de machine en de juiste gereedschappen kiest;

Wie zoeken we?

Je hebt bij voorkeur een technische opleiding in metaalbewerking op A2-niveau gevolgd. Heb je een andere opleiding, maar wel relevante ervaring met metaalbewerkingsmachines? Dan kan die praktijkervaring perfect doorwegen.

Ervaring is dus belangrijker dan enkel het juiste diploma.

Je kan goed technische plannen lezen en werkt graag met metalen platen, profielen en constructieonderdelen. Je weet hoe je veilig en nauwkeurig met machines en materialen omgaat en je kan zelfstandig en gestructureerd werken aan de hand van productie- en bewerkingslijsten.

Ervaring met een rolbrug is sterk aangewezen. Je hebt daarnaast voldoende ruimtelijk en technisch inzicht om ook lange of grotere werkstukken veilig te manipuleren.

Heb je nog geen VCA-attest? Geen probleem, zolang je bereid bent dit te behalen.

Nog niet met iedere machine gewerkt? Ook dat hoeft geen struikelblok te zijn. Afhankelijk van het type machine wordt voorzien in opleiding en begeleiding. Voor complexere machines kan de volledige inwerkperiode zes maanden tot twee jaar bedragen.

Nauwkeurig werken is voor jou vanzelfsprekend. Je controleert liever één keer extra dan een fout onderdeel door te sturen naar de volgende productiestap.

Wanneer zich een technisch probleem voordoet, wacht je niet alleen af. Je probeert te begrijpen waar het probleem zit en denkt mee over een veilige en praktische oplossing.

Je voelt je bovendien goed in een productieomgeving waarin teamwork, verantwoordelijkheid, betrouwbaarheid, respect en engagement belangrijk zijn.
