Als CNC-operator in Kampen werk je met grote computergestuurde machines waarmee tropisch hardhout wordt bewerkt voor bijzondere projecten. Denk aan onderdelen voor bruggen, damwanden en sluisdeuren. Heb je nog nooit met een CNC-machine gewerkt? Geen probleem. Als jij technisch inzicht hebt en graag wilt leren, leren ervaren collega's je het vak in de praktijk. Wat ga je doen? Als CNC-operator werk je met grote computergestuurde houtbewerkingsmachines. Je zorgt ervoor dat het tropisch hardhout volgens de juiste maten en specificaties wordt bewerkt. Daarvoor lees je programma's in, stel je de machines goed in en houd je tijdens het productieproces in de gaten of alles volgens plan verloopt. Je controleert het eindresultaat op maatvoering en kwaliteit en leert steeds beter hoe je de machines optimaal kunt gebruiken. Je werk is een combinatie van techniek, computergestuurde machines en praktisch werken met hout. Daardoor ben je betrokken bij het hele proces: van het instellen van de machine tot het controleren van het eindproduct. Ervaren collega's nemen je stap voor stap mee in het vak. Naarmate je de machines en het productieproces beter leert kennen, kun je steeds zelfstandiger werken en krijg je meer verantwoordelijkheid. Zo werk je uiteindelijk mee aan grote houten constructies die je later op allerlei plekken in Nederland terug kunt zien. Wat vragen wij van jou?
