Coördinator Communicatie & Participatie (B4-B5)

Communicatie is meer dan informeren. Ze ondersteunt onze dienstverlening, helpt beleidsdoelstellingen realiseren en zorgt ervoor dat inwoners en medewerkers tijdig en duidelijk geïnformeerd en betrokken worden.

Als coördinator Communicatie & Participatie geef je mee richting aan de communicatie van het lokaal bestuur. Je ontwikkelt communicatiestrategieën, verbindt mensen en vertaalt complexe informatie naar heldere boodschappen. Daarbij combineer je strategisch advies en beleidsvoorbereiding met de coördinatie van de communicatiewerking.

Wat is jouw impact?

Als coördinator Communicatie & Participatie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling, implementatie en opvolging van het strategisch communicatie- en participatiebeleid van het lokaal bestuur.

Je zorgt ervoor dat communicatie een volwaardig onderdeel wordt van beleid, dienstverlening en organisatieontwikkeling. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, samenhang en effectiviteit van de interne en externe communicatie en bouwt mee aan een sterke communicatiecultuur binnen de organisatie.

Je werkt nauw samen met het afdelingshoofd Organisatie, het managementteam, de diensten en het bestuur en neemt een trekkersrol op in communicatie-, participatie- en verandertrajecten.

In deze rol:

  • ontwikkel en bewaak je de communicatievisie, communicatiestrategie en herkenbare tone of voice van het lokaal bestuur;
  • vertaal je beleidsdoelstellingen naar concrete communicatie- en participatieacties;
  • neem je de inhoudelijke lead op binnen de communicatiedienst, stuur je de deskundige communicatie functioneel aan en versterk je collega's in hun communicatieve rol;
  • coördineer je de communicatiewerking, ondersteun je het netwerk van communicatie-antennes en bewaak je de samenhang, planning en kwaliteit van onze communicatiekanalen;
  • adviseer je bestuur, management en diensten over communicatievraagstukken, perscontacten en crisis- of risicocommunicatie;
  • zet je communicatiecampagnes en participatietrajecten op en begeleid je deze van voorbereiding tot evaluatie;
  • analyseer je bereik, impact en resultaten van communicatieacties en stuur je bij op basis van objectieve data;
  • volg je nieuwe trends, digitale ontwikkelingen, AI en communicatietechnologie actief op en vertaal je relevante mogelijkheden naar kwaliteitsvolle, efficiënte en doelgroepgerichte communicatieprocessen en -tools;
  • beheer en bewaak je het communicatiebudget.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent een strategische denker met een sterke communicatieve antenne. Je weet mensen te enthousiasmeren, draagvlak te creëren en communicatie te verankeren binnen een organisatie.

Je beschikt over:

  • een bachelordiploma of je slaagt in de niveautest;
  • minimum drie jaar ervaring in een communicatiefunctie op strategisch niveau;
  • een sterk strategisch, analytisch en organisatorisch inzicht;
  • uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatievaardigheden;
  • affiniteit met digitale communicatie, sociale media en communicatietechnologie;
  • het vermogen om collega's te begeleiden, te adviseren en te verbinden;
  • interesse in data, metingen en kwaliteitsverbetering;
  • een proactieve, creatieve en resultaatgerichte houding en het vermogen om snel te schakelen, prioriteiten te stellen en kwaliteitsvol te werken onder tijdsdruk.
  • Ervaring binnen een lokaal bestuur of een publieke organisatie is een belangrijke troef.
