Het is het grootste psychiatrisch centrum van ons land, telt meer dan duizend medewerkers en geldt als hét academisch referentieziekenhuis in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg. Het UPC KU Leuven is georganiseerd in drie diensten. Er is een dienst voor kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie, voor volwassenenpsychiatrie en voor ouderenpsychiatrie. Jobomschrijving

Z.org KU Leuven zoekt voor zijn Universitair Psychiatrisch Centrum KU Leuven een coördinator voor het competentiecentrum Ergotherapie en Beeldende therapie.

je functie

  • je fungeert als loopbaancoach van 25 ergotherapeuten en beeldende therapeuten binnen UPC KU Leuven
  • je neemt een rol op in de selectie en het onthaal van nieuwe medewerkers binnen het competentiecentrum en volgt hen intensief op tijdens hun introductieperiode
  • je coacht en ondersteunt collega’s ter bevordering van hun professionele ontwikkeling, je inventariseert de opleidingsnoden van jouw medewerkers en volgt hun opleidingstraject op
  • je staat garant voor de inhoudelijke kwaliteit en wetenschappelijke onderbouw van de ergotherapeutische behandelingen en de beeldende therapieën
  • je onderhoudt contacten met de medische diensthoofden en je werkt actief mee aan de realisatie van de beleidsplannen met oog op een optimale en kwaliteitsvolle multidisciplinaire samenwerking
  • je werkt nauw samen met en rapporteert aan de directeur patiëntenzorg die samen met jou de academisch opdracht van het competentiecentrum in de vorm van onderzoeksactiviteiten, les-, stage- en opleidingsopdrachten en de samenwerking met de verschillende onderwijsinstellingen mee bewaakt
  • je combineert je opdracht met een klinische inschakeling als ergotherapeut binnen de organisatie (minimum 50%)
  • je bent in het bezit van een bachelor-diploma ergotherapie en/of volgde de banaba-opleiding beeldende therapie, bij voorkeur aangevuld met een relevant masterdiploma
  • je hebt een ruime klinische ervaring binnen de (geestelijke) gezondheidszorg en hebt bij voorkeur ervaring als leidinggevende binnen een psychiatrische setting
  • je bent gedreven om de academische uitstraling van het competentiecentrum mee vorm te geven en je ziet jezelf intensief meewerken aan onderzoeks- of opleidingsopdrachten in dit kader
  • je communiceert op een enthousiaste en dynamische manier en ziet jezelf als een motor voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de vakspecifieke kennis, binnen en buiten de organisatie
  • je neemt de nodige initiatieven en vertaalt de zorg- en individuele noden naar beleidsopties en omgekeerd
  • je bent sterk gericht op samenwerking in multidisciplinaire teams en bent een bruggenbouwer over afdelingen en organisaties heen
  • je bent flexibel en gericht op innovatie
