Bij de Vrije Universiteit zoeken we een meewerkend coördinator die het Security Operations Control Center inspireert en ondersteunt! Jouw functie Als Coördinator werk je binnen het Security Operations Control Center (SOCC). Dit team is gealloceerd binnen de dienst IT van de VU en is onderdeel van de 2de lijn staf afdeling. Het team spoort niet alleen op, maar analyseert, mitigeert en adviseert (potentiële) dreigingen om vertrouwelijkheid en digitale veiligheid van de VU te garanderen. In de steeds veranderende wereld van cybercrime, dreigingsniveaus en nieuwe technologieën, heeft het SOCC een prominente rol. Het verder uitbouwen van haar diensten is waar we jou voor vragen. Dit doe je niet alleen met je teamgenoten, maar ook samen met de andere afdelingen binnen de VU. Als teamlid krijg je de beschikking over semipublieke bronnen en diverse SIEM- en IDS/IPS-middelen die passen bij de ambities van de VU. Jouw taken - je coördineert het dagelijkse werk van het SOCC: Zorgt voor inzicht door overzicht, je verdeelt taken, bewaakt voortgang en zorgt voor afstemming met andere (IT-)afdelingen - je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt bij security-incidenten en stuurt de respons aan - van detectie tot evaluatie - je werkt zelf actief mee aan technische securityprojecten, audits, risk assessments en verbetertrajecten - je vertaalt strategisch beleid naar praktische maatregelen en heldere adviezen - je stimuleert kennisdeling, samenwerking en security awareness binnen de organisatie - je bent niet de hiërarchische leidinggevende, maar je deinst er niet voor terug om zowel in positieve als correctieve zin de collega's in het SOCC aan te spreken - je hebt een hbo- of wo werk en denkniveau, met een opleiding in IT, cybersecurity of een vergelijkbare richting - je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met coördinatie of teamlead-rollen, bij voorkeur in een comp...
