The posting

Onze klant is een groeiende productieonderneming binnen de FMCG in de regio van Pelt. Vanuit de moderne vestiging worden dagelijks grote volumes internationaal geëxporteerd. Om deze logistieke stromen in goede banen te leiden, zoeken we een ervaren Coördinator Expeditie & Douane.

Je werkt ongeveer 70% van je tijd operationeel mee en neemt daarnaast de dagelijkse begeleiding van drie collega’s voor je rekening. Je volgt de internationale transporten en het containervervoer op en zorgt ervoor dat alle douane- en accijnsdocumenten correct worden afgehandeld. Zodra de operationele werking goed op punt staat, krijg je de mogelijkheid om geleidelijk door te groeien naar een meer strategische rol.

Taken

  • Je beheert en volgt alle inkomende en uitgaande transportstromen op.
  • Je verzorgt de douane- en accijnsadministratie voor internationale goederenstromen.
  • Je organiseert het internationale containervervoer van A tot Z.
  • Je ondersteunt en begeleidt een klein team van drie operationele medewerkers.
  • Je springt zelf operationeel bij waar nodig en houdt zo nauw contact met de dagelijkse werking.
  • Je denkt mee over verbeteringen die de afdeling en logistieke processen efficiënter kunnen maken.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de Supply Chain Manager en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan hem of haar.

Profiel

  • Je hebt reeds enkele jaren ervaring binnen expeditie of internationaal transport
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van douaneformaliteiten en accijnzen.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met internationaal containervervoer en de bijbehorende transportdocumenten.
  • Je werkt graag operationeel mee, maar neemt tegelijk vlot de coördinatie van een klein team op.
