In deze rol als Coördinator Internationale Transportplanning rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Transport Manager. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing van drie internationale planningsteams en bouwt mee aan de verdere optimalisatie van de transportorganisatie.

Concreet houdt je functie onder meer in:

  • Je stuurt dagelijks drie planningsteams aan: planners Duitsland, planners Frankrijk en de resources planner.
  • Je bewaakt de continuïteit van de dienstverlening en stuurt bij wanneer zich operationele uitdagingen voordoen.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de internationale transportplanning efficiënt en kwalitatief wordt uitgevoerd door jouw team.
  • Je analyseert structurele knelpunten binnen de planning en werkt gerichte verbeteracties uit voor logistieke procesoptimalisatie.
  • Je optimaliseert processen rond laad- en losplaatsen en denkt mee over efficiëntere werkmethodes in de internationale samenwerking.
  • Je versterkt de samenwerking met buitenlandse vestigingen, voornamelijk in Frankrijk, en stemt de planning op elkaar af.
  • Je volgt operationele KPI's op en analyseert resultaten zoals percentage lege kilometers, uitgevoerde ritten en retourstromen.
  • Je verwerkt rapporteringen in Excel en vertaalt deze analyses naar concrete verbeteracties voor routeoptimalisatie en transportmanagement.
  • Je organiseert periodieke teammeetings waarin resultaten, knelpunten en verbeterpunten met de planners worden besproken.
  • Je geeft leiding aan een team van 12 planners met uiteenlopende profielen en ervaringsniveaus, stelt opleidingsplannen op en begeleidt hun verdere ontwikkeling.
  • Je creëert een omgeving waarin samenwerking, duidelijke structuur en verantwoordelijkheid centraal staan binnen de internationale transportplanning.

Voor deze functie als Coördinator Internationale Transportplanning herken je jezelf in het volgende profiel:

  • Je beschikt over ervaring binnen transport, logistiek of planning, bij voorkeur in een professionele omgeving met internationale transporten.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en haalt energie uit planningsanalyse en het verbeteren van logistieke processen.
  • Je hebt een coachende leiderschapsstijl en kan verschillende persoonlijkheden binnen een planningsteam aansturen en ontwikkelen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met diverse interne en externe stakeholders, waaronder je eigen team en klanten.
  • Je hebt kennis van het Duits en/of Frans, gecombineerd met een goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Je werkt vlot met Excel voor rapportering en planningsanalyses; ervaring met BlueJay of andere planningssoftware is een troef.
