Wil jij mee richting geven aan praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek met maatschappelijke impact? Binnen het onderzoekscentrum Futures through Design zoeken we een coördinator die het onderzoekscentrum strategisch verder uitbouwt en inzet op samenwerking, kwaliteit en duurzame impact.

In deze rol ben jij een verbindende en coachende leidinggevende die onderzoekers ondersteunt, richting geeft en het onderzoeksprogramma ontwikkelt en realiseert. Je bouwt bruggen tussen onderzoek, onderwijs en werkveld en positioneert het onderzoekscentrum zowel intern als extern.

Informatie over onderzoekscentrum Futures through Design vind je op hun website met o.a. de missie en visie. Het onderzoekscentrum verenigt onderzoekers die ontwerpend onderzoek in de ruimste zin van het woord inzetten voor objecten, materialen en landschappen. Futures through Design herbergt en verwelkomt verschillende disciplines, waarbij zowel inter-, trans- en multidisciplinair onderzoek als focusonderzoek mogelijk is. Dit centrum is een groeiend onderzoekscentrum, met steeds meer grotere projecten en projectfinanciering als resultaat.

De coördinator van Futures through Design wordt ondersteund door een kernteam, met vertegenwoordigers van de onderzoekslijnen en werkgroepen. De werking van het centrum heeft een uitgesproken democratisch karakter, waarbij betrokkenheid en consensus worden nagestreefd.

Door de inbedding in het KASK & Conservatorium bevindt het onderzoekscentrum zich binnen HOGENT in een unieke positie, met kansen en uitdagingen voor samenwerkingen tussen praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek en onderzoek in de kunsten, evenals voor linken met het kunst-, design- en ontwerponderwijs.
