Over TEJO Gent

TEJO Gent is een onafhankelijk Gents burgerinitiatief, opgestart in 2013 door vijf bevlogen initiatiefnemers. Wij helpen jongeren tussen 10 en 20 jaar die vastlopen door psychische of emotionele problemen, om opnieuw hun eigen koers te varen. Dat doen we via gratis, anonieme en kortdurende oplossingsgerichte psychotherapie, aangeboden door een team van vrijwillige, deskundige hulpverleners.

Achter elke jongere die bij ons de deur binnenstapt, staat een organisatie die op de achtergrond alles op wieltjes laat lopen. Die organisatie, dat wordt jouw verantwoordelijkheid.

Wat ga je doen?

Als coördinator zorg jij ervoor dat ons team van vrijwillige hulpverleners optimaal kan werken — zodat elke jongere die aanklopt, snel en goed geholpen wordt.

- **Je houdt de werking draaiende.** Je maakt en bewaakt werkroosters en agenda's, en zorgt dat onze openingsuren — 's avonds en op zaterdag — maximaal gedekt zijn door jou of jouw collega. Samen met het Bestuur denk je ook mee op langere termijn: waar staat TEJO Gent over twee jaar, en wat hebben we daarvoor nodig?

- **Je stuurt en ondersteunt het team.** Je verdeelt taken, ondersteunt je collega en vrijwilligers, en bewaakt de kwaliteit van onze werking. Je bent ook mee verantwoordelijk voor de aanwerving en inwerking van nieuwe vrijwilligers.

- **Je bent het aanspreekpunt.** Voor vrijwilligers, voor het Bestuur, voor de andere TEJO-huizen, en voor lokale partners: bij jou komt alles samen. Samen met je collega communicatie & fondsenwerving zorg je voor heldere interne en externe communicatie.

- **Je signaleert en lost op.** Merk je dat een deadline in het gedrang komt, of loopt er ergens een knelpunt? Jij ziet het als eerste en stuurt bij — voor het een probleem wordt.

- **Je houdt overzicht.** Je rapporteert aan stakeholders over hoe de werking loopt, en volgt evoluties in de sector en de sociale kaart op, zodat TEJO Gent relevant blijft. Daarnaast neem je lichte HR-administratie op.

Wie ben jij?

Wij zoeken in de eerste plaats een organisatietalent, en niet zozeer een zorgprofiel. Je bent:

- Warm en verbindend — mensen voelen zich gehoord bij jou

- Sterk in plannen en organiseren, ook als er tien ballen tegelijk in de lucht zijn

- Communicatief vaardig en oplossingsgericht

- Iemand die het overzicht bewaart, ook op hectische momenten

- Zowel autonoom als in team aan de slag — proactief en flexibel

Verder breng je mee:

- Een masterdiploma, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring

- Ervaring als coördinator van een team

- Ervaring met vrijwilligerswerk is een pluspunt

- Kennis van de sector en de sociale kaart is een pluspunt
