Dagelijks helpen wij onze leden met vragen over hun rechten als werknemer, zoals tewerkstelling, loon en werk-privébalans.

Om onze sociaal-juridische dienst verder te versterken en aan te sturen, zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren en geëngageerde jurist sociaal recht met leidinggevende capaciteiten.

Functieomschrijving Als coördinerend jurist sociaal recht geef je leiding aan een team van 6 medewerkers binnen de sociaal-juridische dienst en sta je in voor een brede en inhoudelijk verantwoordelijke rol, waaronder:

  • Het dagelijks aansturen van een team van 6 medewerkers van de sociaal-juridische dienst: taakverdeling, opvolging, coaching en kwaliteitsbewaking van de dienstverlening.
  • Instaan voor de meest complexe adviesverlening aan leden en collega's, met een grondige kennis van het arbeidsrecht, het collectief arbeidsrecht en het socialezekerheidsrecht.
  • Bijstand verlenen in collectieve dossiers aan vakbondssecretarissen, onder meer bij cao-onderhandelingen, herstructureringen, collectief ontslag en sociale verkiezingen.
  • Het zelfstandig behandelen en opvolgen van complexe individuele juridische dossiers.
  • Inhoudelijke ondersteuning van secretarissen bij sectorgebonden dienstverlening.
  • Instaan voor een vlotte organisatie en werking van de sociaal-juridische dienst, in overleg met de gewestelijk secretaris en collega’s.
  • Opvolgen van juridische en sociaalrechtelijke actualiteit (wetgeving, rechtspraak, administratieve richtlijnen) en instaan voor de interne verspreiding en toelichting hiervan binnen de organisatie.
  • Bijdragen aan kennisdeling, interne afstemming en kwaliteitsbewaking van de juridische dienstverlening.

Wij zoeken een jurist sociaal recht die:

  • Bewust kiest voor een job binnen een syndicale organisatie en zich herkent in de waarden van solidariteit, rechtvaardigheid en verdraagzaamheid.
  • Beschikt over een grondige kennis van het sociaal recht, met inbegrip van het collectief arbeidsrecht, en deze kennis actief bijhoudt.
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring heeft met leidinggeven of coördineren, en in staat is een team te motiveren, coachen en aan te sturen.
  • Complexe juridische materie helder en toegankelijk kan uitleggen, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Over sterke communicatieve en onderhandelingsvaardigheden beschikt en vlot kan omgaan met uiteenlopende gesprekspartners.
  • Zich goed kan inleven in de situatie van leden en klantgericht te werk gaat.
  • Nauwkeurig en georganiseerd werkt en beschikt over sterke administratieve vaardigheden.
  • Een pragmatische aanpak hanteert en juridische correctheid weet te combineren met syndicale overwegingen.
  • Beschikt over een masterdiploma rechten, met specialisatie sociaal recht of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Vlot Nederlands spreekt, met een goede kennis van het Frans en Engels.
