Dit ga je doen Als Communicatieadviseur bij Gemeente Etten-Leur weet jij hoe belangrijk goede communicatie is. Zeker binnen een gemeente. Wat er binnen de organisatie gebeurt, raakt inwoners, ondernemers en maatschappelijke organisaties direct. Jij zorgt ervoor dat informatie niet alleen klopt, maar ook aankomt. Dat inwoners begrijpen wat er speelt, weten waar ze terechtkunnen en zich uitgenodigd voelen om mee te denken en mee te doen. In deze functie krijg je volop ruimte om jouw communicatiekennis in te zetten voor onderwerpen die ertoe doen. Je adviseert collega's binnen de gemeente en sluit waar nodig aan bij het college van B&W. Geen vraagstuk is hetzelfde. De ene keer denk je mee over de communicatie rond een maatschappelijk project, terwijl je de volgende dag een persvraag oppakt of een communicatiecampagne verder uitwerkt. Je bent iemand die snel tot de kern komt. Wanneer een collega met een communicatievraag bij je aanklopt, luister je goed, stel je de juiste vragen en vertaal je het vraagstuk naar een heldere aanpak. Je denkt mee over boodschap, doelgroep, timing en kanaal. Vervolgens zorg je er ook voor dat het niet bij een plan blijft. Je begeleidt de uitvoering en houdt oog voor het resultaat. Ook richting de pers speel je een belangrijke rol. Je beantwoordt persvragen, onderhoudt contacten met media en weet gevoelige of complexe onderwerpen op een zorgvuldige manier te vertalen naar begrijpelijke communicatie. Je voelt aan wanneer iets extra aandacht vraagt en weet wanneer afstemming met collega's of bestuur nodig is. Online communicatie is een belangrijk onderdeel van je werk.
