Starting in December 2026, this is a position on 0.8 FTE, based in The Hague. Working from the office is required for at least 50% of the working week. Position Title: Communications Coordinator Position Type : Part-time staff (0.8 FTE) - 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday Location: The Hague, The Netherlands Starting date : early December 2026 Important notice: We can only consider applicants that are allowed to work in the Netherlands. We are not able to meet the formal requirements to support work permit applications or visa sponsorships. UNOY is a youth-led network of more than 100 youth-led organizations in over 80 countries working towards more peaceful societies. Our International Secretariat is located in The Hague, the city of peace and justice. The Secretariat is run by a young and dedicated international team of 11 staff, 5 interns, and 6 remotely based Regional Coordinators. The Secretariat is accountable to the International Steering Group, a body consisting of 6 elected representatives from the network to represent members' interests in strategic planning and decision making. The leadership of the network is shared between 2 Co-Directors. Since 2017, a process of decentralization of the network has been taking place through the progressive appointment of Regional Coordinators in each of UNOY's 6 regions as well as the shifting of increasing power and resources to the regional structure of the network.
