Wil je werken in een kleine wendbare organisatie met korte lijntjes? Dan hebben we bij de gemeente Westerwolde de perfecte vacature voor jou! Wat ga jij doen? Als Consulent Jeugd & Veiligheid voer je gesprekken met kinderen en hun opvoeders. Je betrekt en verbindt ook hulpverlenende instanties en het netwerk van het kind erbij. Daarnaast voer je dossieronderzoek uit. Je brengt de behoefte van het kind en het gezin in kaart, analyseert de opvoedingssituatie en beoordeelt of het kind veilig en gezond kan opgroeien. Uit jouw analyse blijkt of er hulpverlening nodig is en welke hulp het meest passend is. Dit leg je vast in een onderzoeksverslag. Als dit nodig is, voer je regie op de ingezette hulpverlening en evalueer je de doelen. Je informeert ouders en kind over de verschillende voorzieningen in het kader van de Jeugdwet en overige hulp. Je volgt het gezin en het effect van de ingezette hulp. Je voert regie bij complexe, meervoudige problematiek waarbij er sprake is van een onveilige, ongezonde opvoedsituatie. Daarbij gebruik je de werkwijze 'Signs of Safety' om het veilig en gezond opgroeien in het gezin te herstellen. Jouw analyse en beoordeling van de opvoedingssituatie leg je vast in een Framework. Je blijft regie voeren over de ingezette hulpverlening en evalueert de gestelde doelen. Bij complexe, gebied overstijgende casuïstiek stem je af met de procesregisseur. De consulent van de drie specialismen (WMO, Jeugdwet, Participatiewet) werken generalistisch, volgens de Omgekeerde Toets Methodiek, maar wel vanuit hun eigen deskundigheid.
