The posting

Vzw Huize Sint-Vincentius begeleidt jongeren die zich in een kwetsbare leefsituatie bevinden. De jongeren zelf en alle betrokken personen uit hun leefomgeving maken deel uit van deze begeleiding. Ieders belang krijgt in het begeleidingsproces een plaats.

Het doel is de kansen op de verschillende levensdomeinen en het zich verbonden voelen met de samenleving te vergroten.

We gaan hiervoor samen op zoek naar en versterken de aanwezige krachten, talenten én beperkingen, bij de jongeren en hun context opdat zij deze kunnen inzetten in het proces naar een autonoom functioneren.

Als contextbegeleider werk je samen met jongeren en hun gezin/context vanuit een oplossings- en vraaggerichte benadering aan de hulpverleningsdoelen op diverse levensdomeinen. Het in dialoog gaan met en het werken op maat van de jongeren en het gezin / de context zijn kernelementen binnen contextbegeleiding.

Enkele werkingsaccenten binnen contextbegeleiding:

  • De begeleiding streeft naar een door alle betrokken partijen aanvaarde hulp met gemeenschappelijke doelen.
  • Vanuit het geloof in de kracht van elk gezin, zoekt de contextbegeleider samen met hen hoe de eigen krachten (terug) ingezet kunnen worden om de gekozen doelen te bereiken.
  • Inzet van ouders en jongeren wordt positief erkend.
  • Problemen worden stapsgewijs aangepakt. Beperkingen krijgen een eigen plaats en betekenis in de begeleiding.
  • De contextbegeleiding is aanklampend. Er wordt beroep gedaan op alle betrokkenen vanaf de start van de begeleiding. De begeleider blijft alle partijen uitnodigen tot inspraak en het opnemen van eigen verantwoordelijkheid in het hulpverleningsproces.
  • Contextbegeleiding stimuleert een positieve verbinding met de maatschappij.
  • De begeleiding verloopt in fasen en wordt door doelgericht handelen voort gedreven.
  • Verschillende middelen worden ingezet binnen contextbegeleiding, vb. huisbezoek, participerende observatie, coaching, netwerkoverleg, …
  • De intensiteit en frequentie van contextcontacten is afhankelijk van de fase van begeleiding, de noden, de doelstellingen, …

Als contextbegeleider zal je werken voor leefgroep Luma in Diest en dit aan een jobtime van 50%.

  • Je bent enthousiast en gedreven met een hart voor jongeren en hun context
  • Je hebt bovenal veel goesting om je te smijten in een uitdagende job die veel leerkansen biedt
  • Je werkt graag in een team maar kan ook zelfstandig begeleidingstrajecten uitzetten
  • Je staat open voor een flexibel uurrooster i.f.v. de noden van de werking
  • Je bent contactvaardig, ondernemend en niet snel uit jouw lood te slaan
  • Je hebt een graduaat of bachelordiploma in een menswetenschappelijke richting
  • Je kan je identificeren met vzw Huize Sint-Vincentius als werkgever
  • Je wil werken in (en vanuit) Diest en beschikt over een rijbewijs B en eigen wagen.
  • Ervaring in de sector kan een meerwaarde zijn, maar is geen must
