Voor een internationaal groeiend bedrijf actief in vastgoed in de regio Asse zijn we op zoek naar een Cost Accountant die het Europese real-estate team ondersteunt.

Het takenpakket als Cost Accountant:

In deze rol rapporteer je aan de Cost Accounting Expert en ondersteun je de activiteiten rond vastgoedontwikkeling en bouwprojecten in verschillende Europese landen. Je staat in voor rapportering, opvolging van projectbudgetten en boekhoudkundige ondersteuning met betrekking tot de vastgoedportefeuille.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

Accounting & Finance

* Je volgt de uitgaven en contractuele verplichtingen van vastgoedprojecten op Europees niveau op, in samenwerking met het Real Estate team en lokale accountingafdelingen. * Je stelt boekhoudkundige nota's op volgens de lokale boekhoudstandaarden en zorgt voor de nodige controles. * Je houdt toezicht op de dagelijkse administratie van facturen en aankooporders. * Je controleert boekingen en kostenverdelingen van facturen en bewaakt basiscontroles zoals btw-verwerking en opvolging van herinneringen en claims. * Je analyseert nieuwe vastgoedprojecten zoals bouw, renovatie en onderhoud van vestigingen in Europa. * Je ondersteunt de communicatie met aannemers, leveranciers en lokale overheden. * Je helpt bij financiële rapportering rond investeringsprojecten (CAPEX) en werkt hiervoor nauw samen met de Real Estate Supervisor/Analyst. * Je volgt betalingsinstructies en planningen op met lokale accountingteams. * Je ondersteunt de maand- en kwartaalafsluitingen voor de vastgoedboekhouding. * Je helpt bij de verwerking van activering, afschrijvingen en bijhorende reconciliaties. * Je ondersteunt het tax team bij aangiftes rond onroerende voorheffing. * Je helpt bij interne en externe audits. * Je ziet toe op naleving van IFRS en lokale boekhoudregels. * Je draagt bij aan budgetvoorbereidingen. * Je werkt mee aan ESG-rapportering. * Je ondersteunt bij fusies, overnames en integraties van nieuwe entiteiten. * Je verleent administratieve ondersteuning bij diverse ad-hoc projecten.

Processen en systemen

* Je helpt bij het implementeren van procedures en systemen die zorgen voor correcte financiële registraties en interne controles volgens de bedrijfsrichtlijnen. * Je ondersteunt de uitrol van controlemechanismen in verschillende markten. * Je werkt mee aan Europese projecten zoals systeemimplementaties, integratie van nieuwe entiteiten en IFRS-migraties. * Je ondersteunt de Accounting Manager bij procesoptimalisaties en speciale projecten. * Je bewaakt de correcte toepassing van interne controleprocedures. Samenwerking & people * Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen de finance-afdeling om gezamenlijke doelstellingen te realiseren. * Waar nodig geef je ondersteuning of training aan nieuwe en bestaande collega's.

Het profiel als Cost Accountant

* Bachelor- of masterdiploma in accounting, finance, economie of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. * Minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring in accounting. * Ervaring in services of retail is vereist. * Ervaring binnen vastgoed of bouwprojecten is een pluspunt. * Je spreekt vloeiend Engels. Kennis van Frans of Duits is een sterke troef. Andere Europese talen zijn een plus. * Ervaring in een internationale of shared service omgeving is een voordeel. * Kennis van IFRS en lokale GAAP is een pluspunt. * Je hebt een goede kennis van Microsoft Office, met gevorderde Excel-vaardigheden. * Ervaring met SAP is vereist; kennis van SAP S/4HANA is een extra troef. * Je hebt interesse in financiële IT-systemen en wil hier verder in groeien. * Je staat open voor occasionele internationale verplaatsingen.
