Met 140 winkels in Vlaanderen (Standaard Boekhandel) en een 40-tal in Wallonië (Librairie Club) zijn we een van de meest dynamische retailers van het land. Onze 600 specialisten zetten sterk in op persoonlijk advies en klantenbegeleiding waarbij de kwaliteit van ons winkelnetwerk cruciaal is. Naast het winkelnetwerk hebben we ons logistiek center SBL in Temse, van waar uit we onze winkels en klanten in Vlaanderen, Brussel en Wallonië beleveren en ons hoofdkantoor in Sint-Niklaas, van waaruit we onze werking ondersteunen met sterke, klantgerichte teams.

Jobomschrijving

Met het Finance team bouwen we aan een financieel gezonde, dynamische en performante groep waar ondernemerschap en teamspirit centraal staan. Ben jij analytisch sterk, cijfermatig nauwkeurig en wil je een belangrijke rol spelen in het ondersteunen van managementbeslissingen en het optimaliseren van bedrijfsresultaten? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou als Cost Controller!

Jouw uitdaging

Als Cost Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor een accurate, tijdige en betrouwbare kostenbewaking binnen de organisatie. Jouw kerntaak is het bewaken, analyseren en optimaliseren van kosten binnen de organisatie en het identificeren van mogelijkheden voor kostenbesparingen. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

· Je stelt budgetten op in samenwerking met verschillende afdelingen, analyseert financiële gegevens, signaleert afwijkingen ten opzichte van budgetten en vertaalt cijfers naar heldere inzichten en concrete verbeteracties. Je voert budget- en variantieanalyses uit en staat onder meer in voor voorraadwaardering en -rapportering, inventarisopvolging en margeanalyse en -rapportering.

· Je analyseert directe en indirecte kosten, rapporteert periodiek over kosten, budgetten en financiële prestaties en maakt marges en winstgevendheid inzichtelijk voor de business en het management. Je signaleert tijdig afwijkingen, kostenoverschrijdingen en financiële risico's.

· Je fungeert als sparringpartner voor het management op het vlak van kostenbeheersing en financiële optimalisatie en ondersteunt met jouw analyses het management bij het nemen van de juiste strategische beslissingen. Zo draag je bij aan een efficiënte en financieel gezonde bedrijfsvoering.

· Daarnaast zie je samen met collega’s Business Controllers toe op de naleving van interne financiële processen, richtlijnen en controles en implementeer en onderhoud je interne controlemechanismen om financiële risico’s te beperken.

· Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een financiële, economische of bedrijfskundige richting en hebt 5 à 10 jaar relevante ervaring in controlling, finance of business analyse. Ervaring in audit is een mooie plus.

· Je hebt een uitstekende kennis van Microsoft Excel, een grondige kennis van Business Intelligence-tools zoals Power Bi en hebt affiniteit met ERP-systemen, bij voorkeur Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

· Je hebt affiniteit met accounting, maar bent vooral sterk in het analyseren en interpreteren van complexe financiële data, alsook in financiële rapportering en data-analyse.

· Je bent communicatief sterk en weet financiële inzichten helder over te brengen aan verschillende stakeholders.

· Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en resultaatgericht.

· Je durft kritisch te denken en proactief verbeteringen voor te stellen.

· Je bent betrouwbaar en gaat discreet om met vertrouwelijke informatie.
