We geven extra begeleiding aan bijzondere leerlingen met een indicatie leerwegondersteuning vmbo. De lessen worden gegeven in kleine groepen van maximaal 16 leerlingen. Iedereen kent elkaar. Vanuit verbinding geven we een veilig gevoel en een prettige sfeer. Op de Tobiasschool krijgen leerlingen periode-onderwijs waarbij één vak gedurende drie weken aan bod komt. Naast theorievakken krijgen leerlingen op een vrijeschool praktijkgerichte vakken en kunstzinnige vorming. Niet de kennis, maar de eigen ontwikkeling van de leerling staat centraal. De Tobiasschool maakt deel uit van scholengroep Voortgezet Onderwijs van Amsterdam. Het VOvA is een groep voortgezet onderwijs scholen in Amsterdam. Door onze unieke combinatie van scholen en onderwijsconcepten is er voor iedere leerling een plek te vinden. Bij het VOvA bieden wij onderwijs waarin doen, maken, ontdekken, leren en worden centraal staan.
