The posting

Het RWA Strategy & Regulatory Reporting team is verantwoordelijk voor het sturen van de kapitaalstrategie van de bank, het versterken van het RWA-managementkader en het waarborgen van hoogwaardige prudentiële rapportering. Aangezien KBC een groepsbreed RWA Strategy Programma uitrolt om governance, methodologie, datakwaliteit en end-to-end processen te versterken, breiden we ons team uit met een Credit Risk Expert.

Deze rol is cruciaal om het programma te ondersteunen bij het realiseren van zijn strategische doelstellingen, het coördineren tussen stakeholders, het waarborgen van samenhang in de deliverables en het bijdragen aan een sterker en toekomstbestendig RWA-kader binnen de groep.

Als Credit Risk Expert draag je bij aan de opzet, coördinatie en uitvoering van het RWA Strategy Programma. Je fungeert als brug tussen methodologie, rapportering, modellering, data, Finance en de business. Je helpt bij het structureren en opvolgen van deliverables, bewaakt deadlines en zorgt ervoor dat RWA-initiatieven op een samenhangende en goed beheerde manier vooruitgaan.

Je werkt aan een gevarieerde mix van analytische, coördinerende, inhoudelijke en governance-gerelateerde taken — ideaal voor iemand die houdt van structuur, probleemoplossing en verbanden leggen.

Jobomschrijving

  • Opzetten en opvolgen van de governance, roadmap, mijlpalen en risico’s van het RWA Strategy Programma.
  • Vertalen van regelgeving naar concrete deliverables en bijdragen aan verbeteringen in methodologie en RWA-kader.
  • Samenwerken met data-, model- en IT-teams om RWA-vereisten correct te integreren en datakwaliteit te verbeteren.
  • Faciliteren van afstemming tussen verschillende afdelingen en zorgen voor duidelijke communicatie en opvolging.
  • Uitvoeren van analyses en ondersteunen bij scenario-studies en het duurzaam integreren van resultaten in de werking.
  • Je combineert een bachelor- of masterdiploma (bv. economie, (ingenieurs-)wetenschappen, technologie of wiskunde) met ervaring in Credit Risk
  • Ervaring met RWA, regulatory reporting, modellering, audit of financieel risico. Kennis van CRR/CRD, Basel III/IV, ICAAP, IRB of gelijkaardige regelgeving
  • Een kwantitatieve achtergrond en/of ervaring met het verwerken van grote datasets is een troef.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden (mondeling en schriftelijk), met het vermogen om technische concepten helder uit te leggen.
  • Affiniteit met kwantitatieve methodes en bereidheid om met geavanceerde analyses te werken.
  • Vermogen om zelfstandig te werken en kwalitatieve output te leveren binnen deadlines.
  • Flexibele mindset en comfortabel werken in een team van ongeveer 10–15 experts.
  • Vloeiend in het Engels.
