De klant is een technisch-innovatief bedrijf dat bedrijven helpt hun productieprocessen te verduurzamen. Dat doet men door het ontwerpen en bouwen van industriële installaties die grondstoffen slimmer verwerken, reststromen valoriseren en productieomgevingen efficiënter maken. De kracht ligt in de kruising tussen engineering, creativiteit en praktijkervaring. Samen met de klanten zoekt men naar slimme, robuuste oplossingen die passen binnen een circulaire en toekomstbestendige industrie.

Functieomschrijving Ben jij een ingenieur die warm wordt van techniek, machinebouw en innovatie? Heb je zin om een gedreven engineeringteam te leiden, coachen en inspireren? Dan is dit jouw kans om echte impact te maken.

Je zal onder meer:

  • Strategisch meedenken met het management over de technologische richting van het bedrijf.
  • Technische ontwerpen beoordelen en optimaliseren met een kritische en analytische blik.
  • Het engineeringteam leiden en coachen, zodat onze machines voldoen aan hoge eisen op vlak van kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en innovatie.
  • De balans verbeteren tussen kwaliteit, kostprijs en maakbaarheid (Design for Manufacturing).
  • Het gebruik van nieuwe technologieën stimuleren en innovatieve oplossingen ontwikkelen.
  • Innovatieve projecten uitdenken en begeleiden van idee tot realisatie, inclusief het voorbereiden en indienen van octrooiaanvragen (patenten).

We zoeken iemand die zich herkent in het volgende:

  • Burgerlijk of Industrieel Ingenieur Elektromechanica (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
  • Een sterke leider met hoog analytisch én technisch inzicht.
  • Ervaring in het vinden van slimme, kostenefficiënte oplossingen zonder in te boeten op kwaliteit.
  • Coachend leider: je weet hoe je mensen ontwikkelt, motiveert en het beste uit je team haalt.
  • Gedreven door innovatie en nieuwsgierig naar nieuwe technologieën, methodes en markten.
  • Ondernemend, besluitvaardig en comfortabel met verantwoordelijkheid.
