Een dag in het leven van een Customer Operations Officer Het Customer Operations team is de schakel tussen een getekend contract en een ondernemer die kan dóórvaren, waar ook ter wereld. Jullie doel: zorgen dat elke internationale lease of financiering voor maritiem materieel, snel, zorgvuldig en soepel wordt uitbetaald, binnen alle spelregels die grensoverschrijdend financieren met zich meebrengt. En dat klanten de hele looptijd een aanspreekpunt hebben dat de maritieme wereld kent en dat meedenkt, meebeweegt en fixt. Ochtend. Je start met een blik op je dossiers. Welke maritieme deal is net getekend? Welk dossier wacht op de laatste stukken? Een reder of scheepseigenaar in een andere tijdzone heeft al gebeld, dus die pak je als eerste op. Je checkt de klant- en materieeldata van het vaartuig, controleert of alle documenten compleet zijn en zet de zekerheidsdocumenten klaar die internationaal standhouden. Ontbreekt er iets of dreigt een dossier vast te lopen? Dan grijp je meteen in. Jij houdt het tempo erin. Middag. Nu draait het om schakelen. Je hebt contact met internationale klanten uit de scheepvaart, notarissen, advocaten en leveranciers van maritiem materieel, over landsgrenzen en tijdzones heen, in vloeiend Engels en zonder dat taal- of cultuurverschillen in de weg zitten.
