Praat jij graag met klanten en hou je ervan om operationeel de touwtjes in handen te hebben? Voor onze klant, een toonaangevende internationale speler in maritieme logistiek en shipping in Antwerpen, zoeken we een Customer Relations Officer Import. Jij zorgt ervoor dat inkomende containers vlot van de haven tot bij de klant geraken.

Onze klant investeerde de voorbije jaren stevig in intermodaal transport en bouwt die dienstverlening verder uit. Jij speelt daar een sleutelrol in. Je combineert customer service met echte operations, in een team dat je vanaf dag één mee op sleeptouw neemt. Daar staan een vast contract en een brutomaandloon tot €4.500 tegenover.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klanten bij vragen over hun inkomende intermodale zendingen
  • Je volgt het natransport op, van aankomst in de haven tot aflevering bij de klant
  • Je houdt klanten, interne afdelingen en externe partners vlot op de hoogte
  • Je werkt dagelijks samen met de vaste transportpartner om elke zending tot een goed einde te brengen
  • Je speelt snel in op vertragingen en zoekt mee naar oplossingen
  • Je volgt douane- en importdocumenten nauwkeurig op
  • Je houdt alle gegevens correct en up-to-date in de systemen
  • Een bachelordiploma in een logistieke richting is een mooie troef, maar geen must
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in transportplanning, customer service, forwarding of een gelijkaardige operationele rol
  • Kennis van maritiem transport, containerlogistiek of intermodaal transport is mooi meegenomen
  • Vlot Nederlands en Engels, Frans of een andere taal is een pluspunt
  • Communicatief sterk en rustig, ook bij veeleisende klanten
  • Nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en sterk in het bewaren van overzicht
  • Een teamplayer met een “you get the job done”-mentaliteit
