Onze klant is een internationale speler in de logistieke sector, actief in de ruime regio rond de haven van Antwerpen. Ze combineren de slagkracht van een wereldwijd netwerk met de warme en open sfeer van een familiebedrijf. Met een sterke focus op intermodaal transport zorgen zij er dagelijks voor dat goederen efficiënt en veilig op hun bestemming geraken.

In deze rol als Customer Service Containerlogistiek ben jij de spil in het plannen en opvolgen van intermodaal transport, met een focus op containervervoer. Je streeft continu naar de perfecte balans tussen een top service voor de klant en een efficiënte inzet van transportmiddelen. Met jouw proactieve communicatie en overzicht zorg je dat alle partijen precies weten waar ze aan toe zijn en stuur je bij waar nodig.

Functieomschrijving

  • Inplannen en nauwgezet opvolgen van intermodaal containervervoer via weg, spoor en binnenwateren.
  • Proactief informeren van klanten en internationale agenten over de status van hun zendingen.
  • Intensief afstemmen van de dagelijkse planning met de interne operationele afdelingen.
  • Verwerken en oplossen van klachten of afwijkingen in de dossiers.
  • Nauwkeurig registreren van alle rit- en klantgegevens in de interne systemen.
  • Meedenken over het nog efficiënter inrichten van werkprocessen en communicatie.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een eerste leidinggevende ervaring of bent een ervaren planner die klaar is voor een stap als teamlead binnen de logistiek of expeditie.
  • Grondige kennis van transportprocessen en intermodaal containervervoer
  • Je weet mensen te motiveren, communicaties vlot te stroomlijnen en bewaart de rust in hectische situaties.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als besluitvaardig, organisatorisch sterk en mensgericht.
