Beschik je over een achtergrond in de logistiek en ervaring in customer service? Ben jij iemand die met plezier als aanspreekpunt optreedt voor internationale klanten en dossiers van A tot Z opvolgt?

Dan ben jij misschien de versterking die dit internationaal logistiek bedrijf in regio Gent zoekt.

Deze werkgever telt ongeveer 255 medewerkers op de site in Destelbergen. Ze zijn actief in internationaal transport over weg en water en volgen zendingen nauwgezet op tussen klanten in heel Europa. In jouw rol ben jij het centrale aanspreekpunt voor verschillende klanten en volg jij volledig het transportdossier op, zonder zelf te plannen.

Je maakt deel uit van een ervaren en ondersteunend team waar je bovendien de kans krijgt om door te groeien.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Orders van klanten verwerk je correct in het systeem en volg je verder op van A tot Z.
  • Dagelijks contact met klanten, planningskantoren, magazijnen en transporteurs zorgt voor een vlotte coördinatie.
  • Internationale zendingen worden nauwgezet opgevolgd, waarbij je actief ingrijpt bij afwijkingen of vertragingen.
  • Leveringen moeten tijdig en correct verlopen; jij houdt het overzicht en zorgt voor een vlotte afhandeling.
  • Ook communicatie met buitenlandse kantoren in o.a. VK en Ierland.
  • Tijdsloten en leveringen worden afgestemd met alle betrokken partijen op basis van de specifieke klantvereisten.
  • Alle kosten, activiteiten en transportdetails registreer je nauwkeurig in Excel en andere planningssystemen.
  • KPI’s opvolgen en actief bijdragen aan een kwalitatieve service zijn vanzelfsprekend in deze rol.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor diploma in een logistieke richting of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Gezien de functie inhoud is minstens een eerste werkervaring belangrijk, bij voorkeur met internationale dossiers.
  • Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands én Engels, gezien het contact met Engelstalige klanten en partners.
