JOUW ROL De douaneafdeling in Born is op zoek naar een Customs Operations & Brokerage Manager. In deze functie geef jij leiding aan de douaneafdeling en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het begeleiden en coachen van het team. Jouw inzet zorgt ervoor dat de teamleden hun doelstellingen behalen en de douaneprocessen efficiënt en vlekkeloos uitvoeren. Daarmee speel jij een cruciale rol in het succes van onze logistieke dienstverlening voor diverse klanten. Als Customs Operations & Brokerage Manager geef je leiding aan een team van circa 15 ervaren en startende declaranten. Jouw afdeling is verantwoordelijk voor de douaneactiviteiten van onze locaties in Born en Heerlen. Dit brengt je in contact met diverse transportmodi en een breed scala aan klanten. In deze functie ligt de nadruk op het aansturen, begeleiden en motiveren van het team om optimale prestaties te leveren. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met jouw leidinggevende om de ontwikkelingen binnen het team te bespreken en projecten succesvol uit te voeren. Ook onderhoud je regelmatig contact met je collega-brokerage managers uit andere regio's: wekelijks via Teams en maandelijks tijdens fysieke bijeenkomsten op ons hoofdkantoor in Zaltbommel. Concreet voer je onder andere de volgende werkzaamheden uit: - Leidinggeven aan een team van 15 declaranten. Je wordt hierin bijgestaan door een Customs Supervisor; - Verantwoordelijk voor de uitbouw van het Customs product. - Waarborgen van het customs compliance beleid; - Coordineren van de oper...
