Voor een dynamische organisatie zoeken we een Customs Operations Coördinator die mee zorgt voor een vlotte doorstroming van goederen en een correcte naleving van alle douaneregels. In deze rol ben je een cruciale schakel tussen interne teams en externe partners en draag je bij aan een efficiënte logistieke werking.

  • Als Customs Operations Coördinator sta je in voor de correcte en efficiënte verwerking van alle douaneformaliteiten binnen de organisatie
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat import export en transitactiviteiten volledig voldoen aan de geldende wetgeving en interne richtlijnen
  • Je coördineert en verwerkt douaneaangiftes en bijhorende documenten zoals oorsprongscertificaten en vergunningen
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met douaneautoriteiten, expediteurs en logistieke partners om een tijdige en correcte afhandeling te garanderen
  • Je volgt zendingen nauwgezet op en grijpt proactief in bij mogelijke vertragingen of problemen
  • Daarnaast adviseer je interne afdelingen over douaneregels, procedures en optimalisaties
  • Je beheert douanevergunningen en zorgt ervoor dat alle compliance vereisten strikt worden nageleefd
  • Je blijft voortdurend op de hoogte van wijzigingen in de wetgeving en vertaalt deze naar efficiënte werkprocessen
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte administratie en archivering van alle documenten volgens de geldende richtlijnen
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een correcte voorraadadministratie en analyseert data rond kosten, risico’s en prestaties
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor diploma
  • Je hebt ervaring met douaneprocessen (bij voorkeur binnen logistiek, supply chain of internationale handel)
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van douanewetgeving inclusief het Europese douanewetboek, incoterms en HS codes
  • Ervaring met douanesoftware of ERP systemen is een plus
  • Je werkt zeer nauwkeurig en hebt sterke administratieve vaardigheden
  • Je communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders en bouwt makkelijk professionele relaties op
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands en Engels goed, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en denkt oplossingsgericht
  • Je kan omgaan met deadlines en blijft rustig onder druk
  • Je hebt oog voor detail en een sterke focus op kwaliteit en compliance
  • Je combineert teamgericht werken met een zelfstandige en proactieve aanpak
