Jouw rol

Als Data Architect kom je terecht in het Data & Analytics Architectuur team van De Lijn. Deze afdeling staat in voor de uittekening van de complete IT-architectuur, waar data en integraal deel van uitmaakt.

Bij Data & Analytics architectuur zorgen we met een team van een vijfentwintigtal mensen voor de uitbouw en het beheer van alle applicaties, technologieën en methodologieën met betrekking tot data warehousing, beleidsrapportering, performance management, operational analytics en data science & Big Data toepassingen.

Jouw opdracht bestaat erin de architectuur van ons data-platform verder uit te denken, maar ook effectief het platform hands-on verder uit te bouwen. Je ontwerpt en bewaakt een robuuste data-architectuur die operationele toepassingen, rapportering, analyse en innovatie met elkaar verbindt.

Zo zorg je ervoor dat data uit uiteenlopende bronnen, van operationele systemen en geo-data tot analyses en dashboards, op een consistente en betrouwbare manier ingezet kan worden voor beleid en beheer.

Daarvoor maak je gebruik van je skills als Data Architect op onze Datalake & DWH omgeving. Je kan daarvoor beschikken over de nieuwste technologieën, zoals ons Azure platform, Databricks, Python/Pyspark, Airflow en Terraform.

Daarnaast bestaat je takenpakket uit

  • Uitwerken van applicatie- en datamodellen en valideer je deze in functie van business- en architecturale noden
  • Ondersteunen en ontwikkelen van data lake omgeving en de bijhorende architectuurprincipes
  • Bepalen en bewaken van datamodellering, data governance, metadata en datakwaliteit binnen het data platform
  • Definiëren van performante en robuuste data loading- en refresh-strategieën
  • Adviseer je stakeholders over data-oplossingen en bewaak je de samenhang tussen strategie, architectuur en implementatie

  • Je draagt bij, hands-on, tot de bouw en het onderhoud van de dataoplossingen die je zelf mee hebt helpen uitdenken
