Data Engineer | Bouw mee aan een nieuwe data-engineering discipline Enschede Organisatie & Afdeling Voor een toonaangevende organisatie in de regio Enschede zoeken we een Data Engineer die niet alleen bestaande data-oplossingen wil beheren, maar juist wil helpen bouwen aan een nieuwe data-engineering discipline. Je komt terecht in een technisch interessante omgeving waar IT en operationele technologie (OT) samenkomen. Data speelt hierin een steeds belangrijkere rol en vormt een belangrijke basis voor verdere digitalisering en innovatie. Hierdoor krijg je de ruimte om mee te denken over hoe data binnen de organisatie wordt verzameld, verwerkt, opgeslagen en beschikbaar wordt gemaakt. Wat deze omgeving bijzonder maakt, is dat de data-engineerin gdiscipline nog volop in ontwikkeling is. Je stapt dus niet simpelweg in een volledig uitgedacht team of bestaande werkwijze, maar krijgt juist de mogelijkheid om mee te denken over de manier waarop data engineering binnen de organisatie wordt vormgegeven. Je hoeft daarbij nog geen specialist te zijn in specifieke industriële systemen of OT-technologie. Die kennis leer je in de praktijk van ervaren collega's. Belangrijker is dat je een stevige technische basis hebt, nieuwsgierig bent en energie krijgt van een omgeving waarin nog niet alles vastligt. Functie Als Data Engineer ga je vanaf de start ongeveer 90% van je tijd aan de slag bij de partnerorganisatie in de regio Enschede. Je maakt onderdeel uit van een professioneel Agile/Scrum-team en werkt direct mee aan echte en complexe data-vraagstukken. Afhankelijk van het project werk je samen met verschillende technische professionals. In deze rol houd je je bezig met het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van data-oplossingen en werk je onder andere met Python en SQL. Je bouwt en verbetert ETL-processen en data pipelines, werkt met cloud- en/of on-premise datawarehousing en denkt mee over de verdere inrichting van de data-infrastructuur. Daar...
