Krijg jij een kick van dat moment waarop de data moeiteloos een data lake instroomt, dag in, dag uit, elk uur opnieuw, op basis van de code die jij zorgvuldig hebt geschreven? Dan is deze functie als Data Engineer precies wat je zoekt! Voor meerdere enterprise klanten bouwen wij data connectors om data vanuit diverse bronnen te laten stromen, met gebruik van state-of-the-art technologieën en cloud providers zoals Azure. Maar wij zijn platform- en tool-agnostisch en deinzen niet terug voor technische uitdagingen. Wat al deze oplossingen gemeen hebben, is dat de data een essentieel onderdeel vormt van de business value chain en gebruikt wordt in een productieomgeving. Dat betekent dat datakwaliteit, continuïteit en een soepele datastroom cruciaal zijn, uiteraard met monitoring om verstoringen op te sporen. Wat ga je doen? - Bouwen van data connectors of verwerkingsoplossingen met Python, Spark of andere programmeertalen. - Definiëren van validatietests binnen de datapijplijn. - Inrichten van monitoring en alerts, zodat verstoringen of fouten in de datastroom direct zichtbaar zijn. - Bij incidenten neem jij het voortouw om de oorzaak zo snel mogelijk te achterhalen en op te lossen, met minimale impact voor de eindgebruikers. - Contact houden met eindgebruikers en je oplossingen valideren, met oog voor continue verbetering. - Samen met het team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bouwen, deployen, onderhouden en optimaliseren van de datastroomoplossing.
