Hoe maak jij Nederland CO2-neutraal? Als Data Engineer bouw jij mee aan betrouwbare datafundamenten voor het elektriciteitssysteem van de toekomst, zodat Nederland de transitie naar een betrouwbare CO2-neutrale elektriciteitsvoorziening kan volbrengen. Als Data Engineer Market Analysis zorg jij ervoor dat het elektriciteitsnet toekomstbestendig blijft en draag je op deze manier bij een stabiel en duurzaam energiesysteem. Jouw rol Waar kom je terecht? Je komt te werken bij de business unit 'Design' in het Market Analysis Team, waar we de energietransitie vorm geven. We ontwerpen het klimaatneutrale energiesysteem van de toekomst, analyseren wat daar voor nodig is en plannen de daarvoor benodigde infrastructuur. Binnen deze business unit onderzoekt en analyseert het Market Analysis team met 18 personen de verwachte veranderingen in vraag en aanbod van elektriciteit op de kortere (2026-2035) en langere (2035-2050) termijn en de gevolgen daarvan voor de taken van TenneT op het gebied van elektriciteitstransport, netbeheer en marktfacilitering. De activiteiten van het team bestaan uit de ontwikkeling en kwantificering van scenario's voor het energiesysteem, modellering van marktgedrag en economische haalbaarheid, stochastische berekening van onzekerheden en beoordeling van voorzieningszekerheid. Belangrijke producten die het team levert / aan bijdraagt zijn: voorzieningszekerheidsstudies op nationaal en Europees niveau (Monitor Voorzieningszekerheid, ERAA); marktsimulaties en systeemoptimalisaties voor infrastructuurplanning (investeringsplan, TYNDP, Target Grid); en modellering en kwantificering voor diverse ad-hoc verkenningen en impactanalyses.
