Een nieuw dataplatform, Microsoft Fabric en technische keuzes die nog niet in beton gegoten zijn. Klinkt goed? Dan hebben we een mooie uitdaging voor je! Bij een toonaangevende evenementenorganisatie in Amsterdam wordt volop gebouwd aan een modern cloud dataplatform. De eerste stappen zijn gezet, maar de technische fundering krijgt nog volop vorm. Als tweede Data Engineer in het team krijg jij de kans om vanaf het begin mee te bouwen. Niet alleen door slimme oplossingen te ontwikkelen, maar ook door te bepalen hoe het platform er straks uitziet. Jouw ideeën zijn hier dus niet zomaar welkom, ze maken daadwerkelijk het verschil. Wat je gaat doen Wat ga je doen? Stel je voor: je krijgt data uit allerlei verschillende systemen voor je neus en aan jou de uitdaging om daar één betrouwbaar, slim en schaalbaar geheel van te maken. Je duikt in databronnen, ontdekt hoe systemen met elkaar communiceren en bouwt oplossingen die data omzetten in waardevolle inzichten. Met Microsoft Fabric, SQL, data pipelines en notebooks als belangrijkste gereedschap ontwerp en ontwikkel je een platform waarop de organisatie kan vertrouwen. Je bouwt ETL- en ELT-processen, ontwikkelt slimme datamodellen en zorgt ervoor dat data soepel beschikbaar komt voor analyses, rapportages en Power BI. Ondertussen denk je actief mee over architectuur, security, performance en datakwaliteit. Want een goed dataplatform moet niet alleen vandaag werken, maar ook over vijf jaar nog stevig staan. Je doet dit natuurlijk niet alleen. Je schakelt met de Product Owner, analisten, IT-collega's en verschillende afdelingen.
