Jouw dag draait om het ontwerpen en onderhouden van de infrastructuur die data-ecosystemen vlekkeloos laat draaien.

  • Inrichten van schaalbare cloud-infrastructuur met tools als Terraform, Docker en Kubernetes om maximale betrouwbaarheid te garanderen.
  • Als Data Platform Engineer stroomlijn je gegevensstromen door het opzetten van ELT-pijplijnen met technologieën zoals Airflow, Dagster of dbt.
  • Waarborgen van de data governance en observabiliteit, waardoor de kwaliteit en veiligheid van het gehele platform geborgd blijven.
  • Optimaliseren van de balans tussen prestaties, kosten en stabiliteit van het platform zodat eindgebruikers snel inzichten behalen.
  • Samenwerken met data scientists en ontwikkelaars om best practices rondom automatisering en beheer te verankeren in de dagelijkse werkwijze.

Profiel

Wat maakt jou de ideale Data Platform Engineer voor deze rol?

  • Ervaring met moderne software engineering in Python en SQL, gecombineerd met versiebeheer via Git.
  • Sterke expertise in cloud engineering en minstens één platform zoals Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, AWS of Azure.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als iemand met oog voor architectuur die graag ownership neemt over complexe vraagstukken.
  • Pragmatische instelling gericht op het schaalbaar en onderhoudbaar maken van data-omgevingen.
