Missie

Als Senior Data Product Owner opereer je op het snijvlak van Business, UX en Tech. Je behandelt data niet als een eenvoudige stroom, maar als een hoogwaardig en herbruikbaar product dat strategische waarde toevoegt aan de organisatie. Jouw doel is om een langetermijnvisie te ontwikkelen voor dataproducten (zoals AI-modellen, dashboards en inzichten) om het bedrijf te helpen bij het oplossen van zijn grootste uitdagingen. Je speelt een cruciale brugfunctie tussen stakeholders en technische teams om de strategie te bepalen en de uitvoering binnen ons data mesh framework te waarborgen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je definieert en communiceert de visie, de waardepropositie en de roadmap voor de dataproducten binnen jouw domein. Je stemt deze strategie af op de algemene bedrijfsdoelstellingen om meetbare waarde te garanderen.
  • Je treedt op als centraal leider binnen specifieke domeinen (bijv. Promoties of Klant) en faciliteert de samenwerking tussen marketing, category management en de technische teams.
  • Je ziet erop toe dat de dataproducten de principes van data mesh respecteren, met name het gedecentraliseerd eigenaarschap en data governance.
  • Je beheert de inkomende stroom van aanvragen, vertaalt businessbehoeften naar user stories en leidt de "grooming"-sessies om complexe initiatieven om te zetten in actieplannen.
  • Je definieert KPI's om het succes en de kwaliteit van de producten te meten en houdt toezicht op de functionele testen en de UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Opleiding: Bachelor of Master in een relevant vakgebied zoals Data Science, Business Analytics of Informatica.
  • Ervaring: Bewezen ervaring als Product Owner of Data Manager, idealiter in een omgeving met gedistribueerde data (data mesh). Ervaring in de retailsector is een grote troef.
  • Talen: Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands of Frans, met een verplichte kennis van het Engels.
  • Kennis van datamanagementconcepten (governance, kwaliteit, lineage), Agile-methodologieën (Jira, Confluence) en moderne datatools zoals Snowflake of Databricks.
  • Je bent een veerkrachtige en optimistische probleemoplosser die kan omgaan met ambiguïteit. Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om technische concepten te vertalen naar businesswaarde.
