De organisatie Je komt terecht bij een technische organisatie die werkt aan projecten met directe impact op de leefomgeving, infrastructuur en duurzaamheid. De werkomgeving is praktisch, nuchter en ondernemend, met korte lijnen en veel ruimte om zaken echt voor elkaar te krijgen. Tegelijkertijd is de organisatie volop in ontwikkeling en krijgt data een steeds belangrijkere rol in het slimmer aansturen van processen en besluitvorming. Het team en de werkzaamheden Je komt te werken binnen een compact IT-landschap waarin je nauw samenwerkt met een andere data engineer en collega's uit de bredere IT-omgeving. De rol bevindt zich op het snijvlak van techniek, informatievoorziening en business, waardoor je veel contact hebt met verschillende afdelingen en gebruikers binnen de organisatie. In deze functie werk je aan het optimaliseren en opnieuw inrichten van het datawarehouse, zodat data schaalbaar, bruikbaar en toekomstbestendig wordt ingericht. Je ontsluit nieuwe databronnen uit verschillende systemen en zorgt ervoor dat deze logisch en betrouwbaar beschikbaar komen voor analyse en sturing. Daarbij houd je je bezig met datastromen, modellering, SQL en dashboarding, waarbij Power BI een belangrijke rol speelt in het toegankelijk maken van inzichten voor de organisatie.
