Onze klant is een gevestigde internationale reus in textiel, vanuit die omgeving ontwikkelen ze oplossingen voor zowel premium residentiële als commerciële projecten e n daar komt jouw expertise in beeld. Als Demand Planning Expert zorg jij ervoor dat data, marktinzichten en commerciële verwachtingen samenkomen in één betrouwbare forecast. Je kijkt verder dan cijfers alleen: je ontdekt patronen, stelt aannames in vraag en vertaalt inzichten naar concrete beslissingen voor de volledige supply chain.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruitzien?

  • Je stelt het rolling demand plan op voor verschillende productfamilies, klanten en productiesites.
  • Je vertaalt historische data, commerciële input en markttrends naar betrouwbare forecasts.
  • Je analyseert forecast accuracy, bias en vraagvolatiliteit en duikt in de oorzaken van afwijkingen.
  • Je ontwikkelt rapportages en KPI's die de planningsdiscipline en besluitvorming versterken.
  • Je ondersteunt de demand segmentatie tussen make-to-stock, make-to-order en projectgedreven business.
  • Je brengt Sales, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Operations en Finance samen rond één gedeeld beeld van de toekomstige vraag.
  • Je identificeert opportuniteiten om forecasting en demand planning structureel te verbeteren.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in demand planning of een gelijkaardige planningsfunctie, bij voorkeur binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Forecasting en demand planning zijn voor jou meer dan alleen cijfers: je begrijpt wat er achter de data zit.
  • Je voelt je comfortabel in een complexe omgeving met veel SKU's, klantspecifieke producten en wisselende vraagpatronen.
  • Je hebt kennis van SAP, bij voorkeur SAP S/4HANA.
  • Je bent analytisch, nieuwsgierig en kritisch. Een forecast neem je niet zomaar voor waar aan.
  • Je communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders en durft Sales, Customer Service, Finance of Operations constructief uit te dagen wanneer de cijfers daar aanleiding toe geven.
  • Je combineert een analytische mindset met een pragmatische, ondernemende aanpak.
