Voor één van onze klanten in Knokke-Heist, een prestigieuze 5-sterrenomgeving aan de Belgische kust, zijn wij op zoek naar een gemotiveerde Demi Chef de Partie.

Je komt terecht in een moderne keuken waar gewerkt wordt volgens het principe van “elevated classics”. Klassieke technieken en vertrouwde smaken worden gecombineerd met moderne creativiteit. Je ondersteunt de Chef de Partie, leert voortdurend bij en krijgt de kans om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen een professioneel keukenteam.

Jobomschrijving

Jouw taken:

Als Demi Chef de Partie ben je een belangrijke ondersteuning binnen de keuken.

Je werkt nauw samen met de Chef de Partie en de rest van het team en draagt bij aan een vlotte en kwalitatieve service.

  • Ondersteunen bij de mise-en-place en de service zorgvuldig voorbereiden.
  • Bereiden en dresseren van gerechten volgens recept en kwaliteitsstandaard.
  • Assisteren van de Chef de Partie tijdens de service.
  • Zorgen voor een nette, georganiseerde en hygiënische werkplek.
  • Meewerken binnen verschillende parties en zo jouw ervaring verder uitbouwen.
  • Kennismaken met kwaliteitsproducten en moderne kooktechnieken.
  • Naleven van de HACCP- en hygiënevoorschriften.
  • Bijdragen aan een professionele en collegiale sfeer binnen de keuken.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

We zoeken iemand die al weet hoe het er in een professionele keuken aan toe gaat en klaar is om zijn of haar kennis verder uit te breiden.

  • Aantoonbare ervaring in een professionele keuken, bijvoorbeeld binnen een restaurant of hotel.
  • Goede kennis van het Engels en vlotte communicatie met collega's.
  • Een basiskennis van klassieke kooktechnieken.
  • Passie voor gastronomie en de motivatie om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen.
  • Een nauwkeurige werkhouding met respect voor kwaliteit, orde en hygiëne.
  • Stressbestendigheid en het vermogen om ook tijdens drukke services gefocust te blijven.
  • Voldoende zelfstandigheid om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor de eigen taken.
  • Een echte teamplayer die graag samenwerkt en collega's ondersteunt waar nodig.
