We werken veelal voor gerenommeerde bedrijven die actief zijn in de marktsegmenten: - Consumenten producten - Zakelijke apparaten - High-Tech Industry DCD staat de komende jaren voor een ambitieuze groeifase. Daarom zoeken wij een nieuwsgierige en gedreven Design Engineer die technische creativiteit combineert met analytisch vermogen en oog voor maakbaarheid. De rol Als Design Engineer werk je aan de ontwikkeling van innovatieve producten, machines en apparaten voor verschillende opdrachtgevers. Ieder project kent zijn eigen technische vraagstukken, toepassingen en uitdagingen. Hierdoor werk je steeds met andere technologieën en ben je betrokken bij verschillende fasen van het ontwikkelproces. Je vertaalt klantvragen en functionele eisen naar slimme, betrouwbare en produceerbare mechanische of mechatronische oplossingen. Je ontwikkelt concepten, werkt ontwerpen uit in 3D-CAD en maakt technische tekeningen, berekeningen en analyses. Daarbij kijk je verder dan alleen de technische werking van het ontwerp. Je houdt daarbij onder meer rekening met materiaalkeuze, maakbaarheid, assemblage, kosten, kwaliteit en testbaarheid. Je werkt nauw samen met engineers uit verschillende disciplines en stemt regelmatig af met klanten.
